Winter & Summer Steelhead
Drift boat trips make up the majority of the steelhead guided trips. We fish the Nehalem, Kilchis, Wilson, Trask, and Nestucca Rivers.
River selection is based on the steelhead run strength and current river conditions. The primary method of fishing is bobber dogging beads and eggs, but other methods are utilized as well.

River Bay Lodge
It all started 6 years ago. Friends always said, "I want to catch a steelhead and go fishing with you sometime!" So I rented a home for a week and opened the doors.
River Bay Lodge is a small intimate destination fishing lodge experience. I take 2 to 3 anglers at a time to fish directly with me every day. Whenever your party exceeds the 3 we have additional guides available to answer the call. We can accommodate fishing and lodging for up to a dozen anglers at a time with advanced notice.
Our lodge runs January and into the month of April, as we focus on the pursuit of Winter Steelhead on 5 different rivers in the Tillamook, Oregon area.

Spring Chinook. April thru June
Of all the salmon that frequent the rivers and oceans of Oregon, none is prized more for the quality of meat than the Spring Chinook. Primary offered as day trips, we have many opportunities to fish for these trophy salmon and utilize different tactics and boats to customize the experience to the anglers preference.

Fall is a special time where often we combine the amazing salmon fishing with Dungeness Crabbing as well. This can be the best of both worlds.

Fall Tributary Drift Boat Salmon
There are many great opportunities to go after salmon in the Fall from within a drift boat on smaller rivers. This is an intimate fishing method that is hands on and fast action.
